Press Play. You hear home — the note everything is measured from — then a second note. Say which degree it was. Both replay as often as you like; re-finding home is the skill, not cheating. 3 lives, and every right answer buys you time — a run of 7 buys a life. The ladder starts with three notes and only widens once you own them, so a new note always arrives with fewer things to confuse it with. In Practice you can swap the answers to note names, and have home played as a full cadence instead of one note. In a challenge it is always one note and always numbers, so everyone's score means the same thing. Home stays put for the whole level — set it in Settings before you press Play.
