Practice is a no-stakes sandbox — nothing here changes your Library stats. Let it pick your weak spots, or choose your own.
Export downloads your entire library — chords, shape templates, and custom families — as a backup file. Keep it safe, and send it to me when you want your set baked permanently into the app. Import restores from such a file.
Removes every chord and shape template you've added or generated, and restores the original 10 CAGED chords plus the 6 starter shape templates. Your practice stats on those original 10 are kept.
Define a shape once — the fret pattern relative to wherever you place the root — and generate every key from it automatically. An abbreviated voicing (like a 3-string triad instead of a full barre) is just another template with its own name; nothing special needed to link them.
Some shapes physically can't reach every key at a low position — a C-shape, for example, can't play a B chord down low because two of its strings would need a negative fret. That's normal, not a bug: those positions get silently skipped, and the result below tells you how many.
Organize your chords into groups (big buckets, e.g. "Open Chords") that each contain families. Rename anything, move a family to a different group, duplicate a family with all its chords, or delete. Empty families are flagged and safe to remove. A chord can belong to more than one family — set that up per-chord (or in bulk) on the Chords tab.
Set the Challenge level each family unlocks at. Students only see a family's chords in the Library and Practice once they reach its level in Challenge Mode. A family with no level is hidden from students until you give it one. (Lower level = available earlier.)
